Tippett's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church
Our History

Tippett's Chapel of YesteryearTippett's Chapel has a long history dating back to the early 1900's.  The church was organized when Rev. Ben Tippett began traveling to the Shotwell Road area to preach.  Two area churches, Bethlehem Baptist and Mount Moriah Baptist assisted by providing Sunday School teachers.  The church began two miles from its present location in Wake County.  In 1963 the church moved to its present location just outside of Clayton.
